Head of Communications and Marketing

Currently serving as the Head of Communications and Marketing at the American Battery Technology Company (ABTC), Tiffiany Moehring is instrumental in steering the development and implementation of transformative, principled communications and public affairs for a first-mover, Nevada-based lithium-ion battery recycling and primary metals resource company supporting our global transition to electrification. Her focus is on fortifying the company for scaling and commercialization, leveraging her extensive background in brand reputation, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.

Prior to her role at the ABTC, Moehring served as the Director of Social Impact and Communications at Waste Management, where she led strategic public relations, top-level communications, crisis communications, government relations and corporate social responsibility programs. Her expertise extends beyond traditional communications, showcasing her ability to lead diverse projects for public good such as charitable giving programs, purpose-driven brand campaigns and large-scale sustainability initiatives. Her commitment to public affairs is a consistent thread throughout her career, from managing strategic marketing initiatives at the University of Denver to orchestrating impactful public relations and community-based programs for the City and County of Denver.

Moehring holds a bachelor’s degree in Classics from the University of Colorado – Boulder and a master’s degree in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She also earned an associate’s degree in photography.
