Ravi Handadi leads ABB’s Clean Energy Transition initiative for the Process Automation Energy Industries division across the USA. With extensive global experience, he has played a pivotal role in several multi-billion-dollar energy projects, guiding them from conception through to completion. Ravi excels in optimizing CAPEX and OPEX by leveraging digitalization, process control, power optimization, and electrification throughout a project’s lifecycle—from feasibility and constructability to operability and long-term sustainability. He has been with ABB for nearly 18 years, with previous roles at Aspen Technology and Honeywell. Ravi has also led ABB’s involvement in major greenfield renewable energy projects, collaborating closely with developers to achieve final investment decisions.
