Olivia Miller

MD L&LC Field Operations Director

Olivia leads the Land & Liberty Coalition efforts in Maryland as the Field Operations Director. She is tasked with identifying and organizing groups of grassroots supporters for renewable energy projects across the Chesapeake Bay State.

Olivia also serves as an Associate at Flywheel Government Solutions, a 50-state government affairs firm. Her area of focus is on energy and renewable energy across all 50 states. She monitors policy decisions and legislation to provide clients with legislative and political background. She also creates comprehensive reports providing important political insight. Because of her previous experience working in various political umbrella groups, Olivia helps to manage and leverage these organizations for clients and plays a key role in interfacing with elected officials and their staff on our clients’ behalf.

In addition to Olivia’s client support role, she serves as the editor for the Flywheel FOCUS, which is a newsletter that offers a valuable source of information on politics, policy, political climate, elections, trends, and more at the federal, state and local level.

Olivia graduated from the State University of New York at Albany where she studied Political Science and English. She brings a wealth of political knowledge to our team from the State Legislature of New York, as well as many others across the country. Her previous experience includes work for the Republican State Leadership Committee in DC and serving as the Executive Director of the New York Assembly Republican Campaign Committee for over 4 years. In addition to her campaign work with State Legislatures, she has also worked on a top-targeted Congressional race in New York and on a Presidential Campaign with outreach focused on legislative leaders across the country. Olivia is originally from Upstate New York, and currently resides in the Capitol Region.
