Conservatives for Clean Energy South Carolina State Director

Nick Murray has nearly a decade of experience in politics, corporate communications, issues management, and business development.

Murray started his career with Burr Forman & McNair’s Government Affairs division as a Legislative Assistant. Following his tenure at McNair, Murray was recruited to work with national political consulting firm, Push Digital in Charleston South Carolina, where he led business development efforts and worked with the firm’s issue advocacy team to implement public policy campaigns in targeted states, counties, and municipalities.

Most recently, Murray worked for Chernoff Newman, one of South Carolina’s leading issues management firms as counsel to many of South Carolina’s most high-profile organizations on their communications and policy initiatives.

Murray now works for First Tuesday Strategies, South Carolina’s premier campaign and public affairs consulting firm, as Vice President of Business Development and serves as the South Carolina State Director for Conservatives for Clean Energy.

Murray is an avid outdoorsman and frequent volunteer with several Lowcountry conservation groups. He also serves on the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Regional Policy Committee and Business Advocacy Committee.
