Jimmy Glotfelty is a Commissioner on the Public Utility Commission of Texas, appointed by Governor Greg Abbott in 2021. He founded Clean Line Energy and has extensive public sector experience, including roles as Senior Policy Advisor to U.S. Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham and Energy Policy Director to Texas Governor George W. Bush.

Glotfelty also led the Office of Electricity at the U.S. Department of Energy and served on several energy-related task forces. In the private sector, he held executive roles at Calpine Corporation, ICF Consulting, and Quanta Services. He has chaired the AWEA Transmission Committee and served on multiple boards. Glotfelty holds a B.S. in Political Science and Marketing from Texas Christian University.
