Jessica Maldonado

Communications Consultant

Jessica leads the public affairs and public relations activities for clients, including media relations, digital strategy, grassroots communication and more. Prior to PolicyWorks, Jessica spent nearly 10 years in the chamber and economic development industry at the Greater Des Moines Partnership. She is a graduate of ABI’s Leadership Iowa program, a Des Moines Business Record “Forty Under 40” honoree, a graduate of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, Past-President of the Clive Chamber of Commerce and served as Carly Fiorina’s Warren County Chair during the 2016 Iowa Caucus cycle. ​Jessica graduated from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO, with a BA in Communication–Journalism and a minor in Spanish. She lives in Norwalk, Iowa with her husband Flaco Maldonado (a professional polo player) and son Tommy.
