Jacquie Baly
Founder & President
Jacquie Baly is the Founder and President of BalyProjects, a government affairs and media relations consulting business she founded 23 years ago. She has been a notable presence in Texas’ business and policy circles for many years. Jacquie is a policy analyst and political commentator for FOX 26 (KRIV-TV), the Fox News affiliate in Houston, where she serves as a regular guest on “What’s Your Point?’, a well-known political talk show.
Her career began in city and regional planning, and she later held the position of Vice President at the Greater Houston Partnership. Following this, she served as Texas Governor Rick Perry’s appointee on the Brazos River Authority and was Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Sugar Land. She has also served as an advisor to Texas Governor Greg Abbott on higher education initiatives for over a decade.
Jacquie, originally from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Public Administration. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate at the University of Southern California. Jacquie has taught public policy at the University of Houston for over 16 years and has also served as a Faculty-In-Resident member at the University of Texas in Austin.
Her extensive board service includes the Houston Contractors Association, Houston Crime Stoppers, World Affairs Council of Houston, National Association of Women Business Owners, Houston Region Business Coalition, and many others.
