Hesston leads government relations in the West and Midwest for AES Clean Energy. In this role Hesston and his team focus on policy initiatives which support an evolving energy sector and energy expansion. Prior to joining AES Clean Energy in 2022 Hesston spent 19 years working in the mining industry where he specialized in project development alongside responsible community engagement and social performance. Hesston has led functional teams in several countries around the globe including Peru, Chile, and Australia during his career.
