Elliot Meyer
Iowa Land & Liberty Coalition Field Director
Elliott Meyer is the Field Director of the Iowa Land & Liberty Coalition, a state-based group of local citizens, across the Midwest, who support utility-scale renewable energy developments.
Elliott has worked in public affairs and public relations with various energy-related projects since graduating from college in 2021. He attended Simpson College and received a degree in Political Science and History. Elliott has always been very passionate about renewable energy policy and advocacy, which is how he found his way to the Iowa Land & Liberty Coalition.
Elliott joined the Iowa Land & Liberty Coalition in 2021 as a Field Representative and took on the role of Field Director in 2022. He and his team have worked with Iowa farmers and landowners across the state to advocate for common-sense renewable energy policy at the local level that preserves property rights for landowners who are interested in voluntarily signing up with projects, as well as county officials to ensure their policies are encouraging investment into their counties while also protecting citizens.
