Carissa Schroeder
Ohio L&LC Field Representative
Carissa Schroeder is a life long Ohioan, having lived in Westerville, Ohio, her whole life, she serves as one of Ohio’s Field Representatives. She graduated from Wittenberg University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
During college, Carissa interned in Washington, D.C. for Congressman Bob Latta, who is the Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Energy. Carissa gained experience and an understanding of federal legislation and energy affairs which sparked her interest in the energy sector.
After graduation, Carissa attended Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service to pursue her Master’s of Public Administration with a focus on strategic and organizational leadership, nonprofit management, and policy analysis. While in graduate school, Carissa worked with the economic development team on a multitude of projects. Carissa is passionate about clean, affordable, reliable, and overall efficient energy. Outside of work and academics, Carissa enjoys playing tennis, biking, swimming, spending time with her Shiba Inu, Hazel, and traveling to the ocean. Her favorite beach destination is Marco Island.
