Land & Liberty Coalition Launches in Georgia

March 5, 2025 – ATLANTA, Ga. – The Land & Liberty Coalition (L&LC), a project of Conservatives for Clean Energy-Georgia (CCE-GA), announced the launch of its Georgia chapter today. The grassroots organization partners with local citizens, landowners, rural Georgia advocates and policymakers to promote commonsense policies that advance energy-focused economic opportunity projects while protecting and benefiting local communities.

“The Land & Liberty Coalition is dedicated to preserving the property rights of landowners who voluntarily participate in renewable energy projects on their land,” said Bradley Pischea, National Director of L&LC. “We are excited to bring the Coalition’s message of economic opportunity and commonsense energy development to the state of Georgia.”

By providing relevant information and helping citizens organize as effective advocates, L&LC empowers individuals and communities to take control of their community’s land-use future.

The addition of the Land & Liberty Coalition in Georgia rounds out Conservatives for Clean Energy Georgia’s state capitol engagement.

CCE-GA is part of the Conservative Energy Network, a national network of 26 state-based organizations focused on championing secure, reliable, affordable, and clean American energy.

CEN recognized the need for grassroots involvement in energy-focused economic development projects and launched L&LC in Michigan in 2018 with a mission to support rural residents as they navigate the siting process that goes along with these projects. The program quickly grew to include chapters in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin. By establishing a Georgia chapter, L&LC seeks to leverage their experience to ensure local Georgia communities reap the benefits of a growing energy industry.
