We are a national coalition of organizations, policy advocates and thought leaders who are committed to advancing American energy freedom by utilizing the economic, national security, and other competitive advantages of community solar.
Common-sense, economic benefits have conservatives across the country championing similar community solar legislation. To date, 21 states have passed legislation encouraging development of these programs and continued efforts to expand consumer options are underway in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan where conservative lawmakers have introduced bills that will remove the regulatory red tape in their states to authorize the development of small-scale community solar projects. We are happy to see Rep. Hoops and Rep. Ray leading the effort here in Ohio.

We are proud to work across party lines to advance bipartisan solutions to modernize our state’s energy policy and make community solar available for our constituents. We hope many of our legislative colleagues will conclude that their own constituents would benefit from increased consumer choice, more local energy jobs and the financial savings that community solar would bring.
