CEN Continues to Expand National Team
April 5, 2021 – LANSING, Mich. – The Conservative Energy Network (CEN), a coalition of 21 state-based conservative clean energy organizations, today announced the hire of New Media Strategist Kayla Ventura. This new position will enable CEN and its state teams to strengthen their digital presence and reach a broader audience to educate and advocate for pro-competition and market-based clean energy policy solutions.
Prior to joining CEN, Ventura served as project manager for Swing State Strategies, LLC, a public affairs, public relations, and strategic consulting firm based in Columbus, Ohio. Her past work included the development and placement of targeted digital media and she worked with corporate and non-profit groups to brand and promote their presence online. In her new role, Kayla will develop and oversee the implementation of new strategic digital communications plans to advance CEN’s mission and programmatic priorities.
“We are excited to expand our communications department to include a new media strategist,” said Brittany Zwierzchowski Tisler, chief operating officer of CEN. “Kayla brings an impressive combination of skills and experience and she will be invaluable to CEN as we continue to grow our reach.”
“Kayla’s work will be especially helpful to our state teams as they pivot their engagement tactics in an increasingly digital world,” said Mark Pischea, CEN president and CEO. “I look forward to seeing the impact of our network multiply under her guidance.”
