Conservative Energy Network and CRES Lead National Conservative Delegation to Capitol Hill Amid Shifting Energy Landscape

May 6, 2025 – WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Conservative Energy Network (CEN) and Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) are convening nearly 40 clean energy advocates, business leaders, and state officials from 18 states for the seventh annual fly-in event co-hosted by CEN and CRES. Participants will meet with nearly 60 Congressional offices to make the case for commonsense, conservative clean energy policy grounded in free-market principles, energy security, and American innovation.

With the national conversation shifting toward restoring American strength at home and abroad, CEN and CRES are uniquely positioned to lead. Both organizations represent the mainstream conservative approach to energy, one that respects markets, empowers states, and puts American workers and manufacturers first.

This year’s fly-in highlights state-level leadership in areas like permitting reform, grid reliability, and the advancement of next-generation clean energy technologies including nuclear and offshore wind. Participants will also share success stories from their home states where clean energy is boosting local economies, strengthening the grid, and creating jobs.
